Mr Stephen Marich
The Individual Award was presented at CORE 2000 at Adelaide to Mr Stephen Marich of the BHP Melbourne Research Laboratories (MRL - which was relocated to Monash University in 2000). The MRL group was formed in 1972 and Stephen’s many achievements included assisting BHP Iron Ore in the Pilbara Region of WA to gain a world reputation as a leading heavy haul railway.
