Stephen Townsend of TransAdelaide will discuss the background leading to the revitalisation of the Adelaide Rail Network, provide details of the many projects that have been and are being carried out and provide some detail of the possible future direction of the Adelaide Rail System.
Dr Mark Raiss of URS/Scott Wilson will introduce the Crossrail scheme, Europe’s single largest infrastructure project with a current budget of £14.5bn. Mark will explain the history of Crossrail’s development, describe what it entails, the service it will provide and the funding mechanisms to achieve those ends.
