The RTSA has made a comprehensive submission to the NSW Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) on its enquiry of the NSW branch lines. Following the very successful RTSA study tour on NSW branch lines in March 2006 and the joint RTSA / Charles Sturt University symposium ‘Future Frameworks for Regional Rail’ in February 2007, RTSA members were able to gain insight into the challenges and opportunities facing regional rail in NSW.

P. J. ‘Pat’ Hannaberry O.B.E. was Commissioner of the former Commonwealth Railways from 1948 to 1960. He held the position during the transformation of the operations of the Trans Australia Railway through dieselisation.
Pat Hannaberry’s collection of books, numbering approximately 65, is being offered for sale by tender by his nephew’s family.
