Currently more than 1000 railway professionals and 18 railway organisations have joined RTSA.
Railway organisations are invited to become Corporate Members of RTSA and participate in RTSA activities as well as collectively contribute towards the development of professionals within the industry.

Apart from the prestige of being part of a learned society which promotes excellence in the application and practice of railway technology and management, there are several benefits available for an RTSA Corporate Member which include:
- Three nominees, representing the Corporate Member, shall be entitled to the privileges that are extended to Ordinary members, including the right to vote. These privileges, in particular, shall include an entitlement to attend RTSA CORE Conferences at the discounted members fee.
- The receipt of a framed membership certificate.
- Acknowledgment on the RTSA website www.rtsa.com.au including the Corporate Members Logo and a hyper-link to the Corporate Members own web site (artwork to be supplied by the Corporate Member in a format that is acceptable to the RTSA).
- An entitlement to a half-page advertisement or a flyer insert in the RTSA quarterly newsletter Rail Horizons.
- The receipt of additional copies of the newsletter and other RTSA publications.
- Subject to the agreement of the RTSA Executive, consideration shall be given to Corporate Members having preferential opportunities to sponsor RTSA events and activities or to act in the capacity of the chair of technical sessions at RTSA Conferences.
- Discounts for specified RTSA activities as agreed by the RTSA Executive.

Membership Cost
The cost of RTSA Corporate membership for 2011/2012 is $990 (inclusive of GST).
